Everybody has his own, very personal clown. To discover him is not always easy – but to meet him is a very particular moment in the life of an actor. The discovery of the own clown is a huge potential for the actor´s freedom of expression.
It is about the pleasure and fun around our own ridiculous side. The clown has his very own poetry, „the poetry of an idiot“
When the actor shows with great pleasure his ridiculous side, we can see in his eyes this very special light, that precedes the appearance of the clown. The actors eyes are shining while playing with the flop, a very important and feared friend, without whom the clown can not exist.
“Today I will be great, you will see…“ says the clown to himself every day and again everything goes wrong. When the clown shows his enormous pleasure while he is failing, we love him and like children we look forward to his next flop.

Movement:
The lesson starts every day with a group and movement training of 1,5 hours.
Elements of acrobatics- partner and single (everybody, no matter which age or size, can do it!), awareness-training, energetic dance, stretching- and relaxation exercises, group work, Pilates, Shiatsu and Feldenkrais are used for this training. The movement class is specially designed for the following acting class and is an indispensable part of the workshop.

Please bring comfortable clothing

Number of participants: max. 15 p.

Classes will be held in English. Translations into German, French, Italian and Spanish can be made.
